Community Gardening .....Safely, during COVID-19

Located on the grounds of a historic former Rosenwald School, Trees NC’s community garden and grove has provided fresh vegetables, fruit and fellowship for undeserved East Side residents for nearly ten years. And, although this year’s garden is a bit on the shaggy side , it is still producing an abundance of vegetables and fruit for folks in the community. Many thanks to our loyal volunteer Bob Burkhead and the residents and management of East Side Homes for making this possible!
