Trees NC is one of nine environmental organizations to partner with Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment for a study of community-based environmental organizations.
Conducted by graduate students Brent Ribble, Alicia Vasto and Andrew Whelan, the community partner study was part of Dr. Elizabeth Shapiro's Community -Based Environmental Management graduate course.
"We felt honored to be selected as a partner with Nicholas School of the Environment," said Owen George of Trees NC. "The report that resulted from this project has yielded several practical suggestions that we will incorporate in our plan for 2013."
Trees NC would like to send a special thanks to Brent, Alicia and Andrew. We enjoyed working with you and wish you the very best with your upcoming careers!
