Tony Mayer Visits Trees NC sponsored Historic Site

Landscape designer, youth advocate, educator, sustainability consultant….are just a few of the many skills and passions of the phenomenal Tony Mayer. A few years ago, Tony worked closely with the Trees NC team to develop a project to engage diverse youth participation in plan to renovate and repurpose the historic 1839 Asheboro Female Academy. With the renovation completed, we are excited to have Tony’s help to create an inclusive outdoor learning environment at the Academy site.
