Planting a Grove at Uwharrie Charter School

TreesNC has a long-running relationship with the NC Zoo - two of our founding board members Robert McCrory and Chad Phillips serve as arborists for the 1,000+ acre natural habitat property.  

Last week Robert and Chad joined our board chair Bob Langston in the planting of a tree grove at the new Uhwarrie Charter Academy in Randolph County. The project was sponsored  by the NC Zoo's Acres for the Atmosphere chapter - a group of folks that are passionate about planting trees to help counteract the effects of global warming.  

Collaboration, that's what its all about - and TreesNC is proud to partner with Acres for the Atmosphere!
