Welcome to Trees NC's East Side Garden

There is nothing better than fresh picked fruit and garden vegetables! Especially, when they are picked in a neighborhood where many residents lack access to fresh food. Welcome to Trees NC’s East Side Garden.

Trees NC started our garden several years ago on the grounds of East Side Homes, a former Rosenwald School, located in Asheboro, NC. With the help of many volunteers and friends along the way, the East Side Garden has grown to 30 raised beds and an orchard of 50 fruit trees. This year we are partnering with Randolph County’s NC Master Gardeners chapter to get the garden growing again.
