TREES NC offers community improvement grants

TREES NC is welcoming applications from individuals and groups seeking funding for a community improvement project. The YES! I Can GRANT provides empowerment funding for North Carolina residents ages 12 to 18 who have a plan to make their community a better place.

While TREES NC focuses on planting and caring for trees, the organization understands that people and their neighborhoods’ unique situations may outweigh simply providing shade and beauty. If you have an idea for a project to make your community a better place, TREES NC would like to hear about it—whether or not you’re planting trees. 

Grants will range from $25 to $500. Projects proposed for private property will be considered, but projects that affect and are accessible to the public are preferred.
