Arbor Day was celebrated at the Randolph Mall on Friday, March 16 with many activities and giveaways for the entire family. Thank you for the generous support of The Courier-Tribune, Books-A-Million, Chick-Fil-A, N.C. Zoo, N.C. Cooperative Extension, N.C. Master Gardeners, Randolph Mall, Charles McCrary Elementary School UNITE Club Drum Group and the City of Asheboro. There were 15 winners in the Courier-Tribune's Arbor Day Coloring Contest. The ages ranged from 1 1/2 to 11 years old. The children received a gift from Chick-Fil-A and a tree to plant from Trees NC.
